Ronnie McCollum’s news

9-5

This past Saturday we went on the road to take on the 2nd worst team in the league. The day get off to a weird start the bus left 25 minutes late and the bus driver drove extra slow. So we arrived at the gym 30 minutes before tip off, add in getting dressed and pregame scouting report that only left us with 15 minutes to warm up. 10 years ago that would have been enough but now at almost 35, I need a little more time to get warmed up. So I played the whole game stiff but we won. We were always in control of the game up 20 points in the first half they scored 12 points in the last 90 seconds of the game to make the score look closer than the game really was. The final 83-71 I finished with 12points 8 rebounds 5 assists and 1 block……..

8-5

On Sunday we kept our home record perfect with a 74-72 win. It was not the best game we played but a win is still a win. We blew a 15 point lead in the second half, it wasn’t pretty but effective. I finished with 15 points 8 rebounds and 2 steals.
